Sculpt Gym, founded by Adam Collard, was designed to create a premium fitness environment that combines high performance training with immersive atmosphere and modern architectural design.

Known nationally through television and the fitness industry, Adam Collard has built the Sculpt brand around energy, community and creating a standout gym experience. Lumacore was trusted to help bring that vision to life through a fully integrated lighting and sound installation throughout the facility.

Across the main gym floor, full RGB Digital 60 pixel LED lighting was installed using architectural profile systems to create clean linear lighting throughout the ceiling space. Unlike standard static lighting, the pixel mapped system allows the entire environment to shift between different moods, colours and atmospheres instantly, transforming the feel of the gym depending on the energy of the space.

From high energy training environments and darker immersive lighting scenes to clean architectural white lighting, the system was designed to give complete flexibility throughout the facility while maintaining a sleek premium finish.

Careful consideration was given to the spacing, profile selection and diffusion used throughout the installation to ensure the lighting remained seamless, evenly diffused and visually clean across the entire gym floor.

Within the weightlifting area, bespoke ceiling feature lighting was created using RGB Digital 60 LED systems integrated directly into the architectural ceiling design. The feature lighting was designed to create depth, movement and atmosphere throughout the training space while allowing the environment to adapt dynamically between different moods and training settings.

A bespoke lighting and sound environment was also created within the class training area known as “The Cage”, combining immersive LED lighting with a fully integrated commercial audio system designed to completely transform the atmosphere during sessions and group classes.

The full facility audio system was designed with multiple independent sound zones throughout the gym, allowing separate control across the main gym floor, class areas and toilet facilities. This gave the Sculpt team complete flexibility over music, volume levels and atmosphere throughout different areas of the space while maintaining a seamless user experience across the facility.

All lighting, sound and environmental controls throughout the facility were integrated into one intelligent control interface, allowing the entire gym to be managed effortlessly from a single iPad system. From lighting scenes and pixel effects to audio zones and atmosphere control, every element of the environment can adapt instantly at the touch of a button.

Throughout the gym, lighting temperatures were carefully selected depending on the purpose and feel of each environment.

Cool white LED lighting was installed throughout key training areas to create a brighter, sharper and more energised atmosphere focused around performance and intensity, while warm white LED lighting was used within the sauna rooms and bathrooms to create a calmer, more relaxing environment centred around recovery and comfort.

One of the standout features of the project was the bespoke 3m x 2m illuminated Sculpt feature logo installation, designed and built as a statement architectural centrepiece within the gym environment.

The feature was created using precision LED integration and custom fabrication techniques to ensure a seamless illuminated finish that reinforced the identity of the Sculpt brand while becoming a focal point within the space itself.

Combined with intelligent lighting control, immersive architectural detailing and fully integrated audio throughout the facility, every aspect of the project was designed to elevate the overall member experience while delivering a premium finish throughout.
